You will personally be responsible for architecting and developing a microservice backend working on high-scale data pipelines and helping to implement event-driven architectures as the company prepares for multi-tenancy, a new data platform build and delivering value, creating new features to further increase their competitiveness

The Role*
As Backend Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in helping an innovative Healthtech consultancy overcome big challenges that will completely revolutionise the scalability, performance and efficiency of it’s main B2B SaaS offering, you will help develop and mature the platform refining and consolidating those features that are currently delivering immense value, creating new features to further increase their competitive edge and preparing for rapid multi-tenancy.

What are your objectives*
Your objectives as Backend Software Engineer include the design and implementation of lightweight service APIs, developing services that manage data and having accountability for architecting microservice backends for the main product and applying microservice patterns correctly, you’ll also get to work on high-scale data pipelines, implement and maintain RBAC/ABAC, manage deployment to Kubernetes and help to implement event-driven architecture. You will also play a role in improving the current internal process as the growing company looks to mature and define its engineering communities standards and best practices.
Requirements

  • CI such as Cloud Build (GCP), Code Build (AWS), Code Pipeline (AWS)
  • Coding with Security
  • 3rd party software integration
  • Innovation projects experience
  • Technical design experience required for mid/senior grade
  • (Desirable) Experience developing a SaaS product

Tech Stack

  • A strong working knowledge of at least one programming language. They work in Golang and Python on the backend, so knowledge of either would be favored, but not necessary.
